Heat Relief (Short-term)

PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a well-known reputable company in Lewisport, KY. We are now accepting resumes for Heat Relief Associates who are team players, versatile, and dependable! Resumes are required along with a clean background and must be able to pass a drug screen.

Shift Schedule:

This position will be from May through September 1st Shift 7:00 AM - 3:00

PM Days:

Thursday through Monday 2nd Shift 3:00 PM - 11:00

PM Days:

Monday through Friday OR Thursday through

Monday Job Duties:

Conduct regular rounds in hot zones to check on employee well-being. Distribute water, electrolyte drinks, cooling towels, and snacks to production employees throughout the shift. Set up and maintain hydration stations, cooling areas (fans/misters), and shaded break zones. Monitor employee well-being for signs of heat stress or heat-related illness and notify safety/medical personnel if needed. Track and record employee visits to hydration or cooling stations for compliance and reporting. Ensure supplies are stocked and equipment is clean, functional, and safe to use. Assist with educating employees on proper hydration and heat safety practices. Support safety team with other wellness-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Must have a high school diploma or GED Must be 18 years of age. Must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, including in high-temperature areas near machinery. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, nights, weekends, or overtime as needed. Must wear required PPE, including safety shoes, eye protection, gloves, and hearing protection. Strong communication skills and ability to interact respectfully with production employees, team leads, and supervisors. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or with minimal supervision. Willingness to undergo training on heat stress, hydration protocols, and first response procedures. Must pass any pre-employment screenings (e.g., background check, drug test) required by the facility.

Qualifications:

Must have a high school diploma or GED Strong analytical & mathematical skills. Flexibility and ability to work on multiple project assignments, work overtime hours if necessary.
