Heating and Cooling Service Technician

Wallowa County Grain Growers Heating and Cooling is looking for a skilled Service Technician to join our team in beautiful Enterprise, OR. Summary/Objective The HVAC Service technician will ensure the highest quality customer experience. This position will maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for both commercial and residential customers. This position will identify and follow up on potential opportunities for additional business. Essential Functions 1. Diagnose diverse service issues and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling systems. 2. Understand company pricing and generate appropriate customer invoice at job site. Obtain customer signature at completion of job. 3. Document all installed equipment upon arrival: make, model, serial number, type of fuel, necessary test measurements, and pictures as necessary. 4. Participate in company provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies. 5. Maintain good working order of company vehicle including refueling as necessary and reporting any mechanical issues. 6. Travel to job sites in service area and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customer. 7. Other duties as assigned. Competencies/Requirements 1. Experience in service, maintenance, and troubleshooting and correcting diverse HVAC service issues preffered. Candidates with strong mechanical apptitude and ability to train will be considered. 2. Good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals. 3. Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations 4. Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time. 5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills 6. Valid driver's license. 7.
