Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technician-Lead

Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Lead Field Technician to join our growing Service and Maintenance team. This individual will play a key role delivering top-tier service, empowering our customers through reliable solutions while advancing your career in a fast paced, rewarding environment. What will you do Perform a variety of standard to moderately complex technical tasks related to installation, repair, and maintenance on various equipment including chillers, boilers, cooling towers, air handling units, controls, and accessories. Support the field technicians with troubleshooting and installation of HVAC systems. Identify maintenance risk on equipment Maintain records of all maintenance functions Build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions Work locations include Suffolk, Nassau, Queens, and Manhattan What you bring Minimum of 7-10 years' experience in the following areas: Commissioning, Mechanical, Control Systems Installation, HVAC testing and balancing, Facilities Operations and or Maintenance, Field, or Technical Support. Working knowledge of control systems, unitary mechanical equipment, centralized condenser water, chiller, and boiler plants. Technical certifications related to electrical or mechanical systems are preferred. Familiarity with safety standards is essential. Full understanding of mechanical principles - piping & HVAC. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings. Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong attention to detail. Able to read and comprehend instructions and write correspondence. Able to effectively present information to customers and company staff. What We Offer $50.00 - $55.00 hourly rate. Overscale pay based on knowledge and experience. $300 On-Call Pay $2500 sign-on bonus after 6 months of good standing employment Discretionary year-end bonus 15 vacation days and 5 Sick Days.
