Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician! Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan. Conduct plumbing and refrigeration work as needed for system upgrades or repairs, including ammonia refrigeration systems. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to repair electrical components and mechanical parts. Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes during all service activities. Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection reports for each project completed. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC or related mechanical fields with a strong understanding of HVAC design principles. Knowledge of construction practices related to HVAC system installation and property maintenance. Familiarity with schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Mechanical knowledge of refrigeration systems, plumbing, boilers, and appliance repair. Hands-on experience with field service operations including equipment repair and maintenance. Ability to operate specialized tools such as ohmmeters, welding equipment, and diagnostic instruments. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving vehicles preferred. Certifications in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), ammonia refrigeration or boiler operation are advantageous.
