Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional service across residential, andcommercial, settings. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure optimal indoor air quality and climate control. Your mechanical expertise and proactive approach will help us maintain high standards of property comfort and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge HVAC technology while providing vital services that improve everyday environments. Duties Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs. Conduct field service operations involving appliance repair, plumbing connections, ammonia refrigeration systems, and mechanical equipment. Perform equipment repairs using tools such as ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other specialized diagnostic instruments. Maintain property by performing routine inspections of HVAC/R systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency. Assist in system upgrades or new installations by applying HVAC design principles and construction knowledge. Drive company vehicles safely to various job sites while adhering to all traffic laws as a driver. Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving mechanical knowledge, refrigeration systems, or boiler maintenance to ensure timely completion. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC or related fields such as construction or property maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, welding, plumbing, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), and appliance repair. Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design concepts, and troubleshooting techniques using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters. Knowledge of HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units, boilers, ventilation systems, and refrigeration equipment. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately for effective diagnostics and repairs. Experience working in field service environments with a focus on maintenance or property management is highly desirable. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Additional skills such as welding certification or boiler operation experience are advantageous but not mandatory.
