Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Installer Technician

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installer Technician, where you will be at the forefront of creating comfortable and efficient indoor environments. In this role, you will install, service, and maintain a wide range of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. Duties Install new HVAC systems, including ductwork, thermostats, and related equipment in accordance with schematics and design specifications Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heating, ventilation, refrigeration, and air conditioning units to ensure peak operation Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents to accurately execute installations and repairs Troubleshoot system issues using tools such as ohmmeters and diagnostic equipment; identify faulty components for repair or replacement Conduct plumbing connections and refrigerant line installations for HVAC systems involving ammonia refrigeration or other refrigerants Weld, solder, or fabricate metal components as needed for system assembly or repair projects Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection reports to ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies Requirements Proven experience as a service technician or installer in the HVAC industry with a strong mechanical background Knowledge of construction practices related to HVAC installation and property maintenance Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred Mechanical knowledge of boilers, pumps, fans, ductwork, and other HVAC/R equipment Experience with property maintenance tasks related to air conditioning units and ventilation systems Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly on-site Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients during installation or repair projects This role is essential in delivering high-quality HVAC solutions that enhance comfort and efficiency.
