Heavy Civil & Asphalt Project Manager TL Wallace Construction Inc. seeking an experienced Heavy Civil & Asphalt Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of roadway, asphalt paving, and civil infrastructure projects. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast?paced environment. - Benefits Competitive pay (based on experience) Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits after 90 days Safety Incentive Program Weekly payVacation:
5 days after 1 year Holiday pay - Responsibilities Manage heavy civil and asphalt projects from pre?construction through closeout. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls. Coordinate daily with field supervisors, crews, subcontractors, and vendors. Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents. Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services. Track and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation. Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance. Lead project meetings and communicate updates to internal teams and clients. Approve invoices, verify quantities, and ensure accurate project billing. Identify and resolve project issues, conflicts, and schedule impacts. - Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business, or related field preferred. Experience in heavy civil construction, asphalt paving, roadway work, or site development. Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and industry standards. Proficiency in Excel; experience with construction software (Bluebeam, Procore, HCSS, or similar) preferred. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Strong problem?solving skills and attention to detail. Self?starter with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Must be 21+ years old. Must pass pre?employment drug/alcohol testing and a criminal background check. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Ability to thrive in a fast?paced, dynamic work environment. - Additional Information This job description is not all?inclusive.
