ABOUT THE ROLE

We are hiring a Mobile Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain Hyundai construction equipment (excavators, wheel loaders, compact equipment, and related machines) at customer job sites across our territory. You will operate out of a fully equipped service truck provided by the company and report to the Service Manager.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Travel to customer job sites across MD, DE, and Southern NJ to perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, scheduled maintenance, and warranty work
• Diagnose hydraulic, electrical, engine, drivetrain, and emissions-system issues on Hyundai construction equipment
• Perform PM services, fluid changes, filter replacements, and component rebuilds in the field
• Use Hyundai diagnostic software and OEM service literature to troubleshoot
• Document all work performed, parts used, and time on the job in service management software
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked service truck
• Communicate professionally with customers on-site and represent the dealership
• Coordinate with the parts and service departments to schedule follow-ups and order parts

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 3+ years of hands-on experience servicing heavy construction equipment, agricultural equipment, or medium/heavy-duty trucks (Hyundai, Caterpillar, John Deere, Komatsu, Volvo, Kubota, Bobcat, or similar)
• Strong hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and OEM service manuals
• Own basic hand tools (specialty and diagnostic tools provided)
• Clean driving record — Motor Vehicle Record will be reviewed; valid driver's license required; CDL a plus
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors in varied weather, and operate equipment safely
• Self-starter who can manage their own schedule and complete work without direct supervision
• Professional appearance and strong customer-service skills
