HEAVY DIESEL TRUCK MECHANIC
(Tractor-Trailer Technician) o We're looking for an experienced Heavy Diesel Truck Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on tractor-trailers and related equipment. Technicians are expected to produce high-quality work that meets company standards for safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Responsibilities o Troubleshoot diesel engine systems using ECM diagnostic programs and proven diagnostic techniques o Diagnose, repair, and replace external engine components o Test, diagnose, and repair complete truck chassis electrical systems o Perform PM inspections and services according to company policy and time standards o Repair, adjust, and align suspension and brake systems o Support and maintain the tire maintenance program per company policy o Perform service calls based on company or site-specific guidelines o Apply basic knowledge of hydraulic system operation o Diagnose and service PTO systems across various truck make/models o Wash and fuel equipment as needed o Perform road tests to verify repair quality (if qualified) o Accurately document all work performed, including parts and labor, on work orders o Coordinate with the Parts Department to maintain proper inventory levels of parts and shop supplies o Follow all Parts Department procedures and rules o Maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and company standards o Support the upkeep of the shop, grounds, tools, and equipment o Maintain a positive attitude and communicate professionally with team members o Assist with other duties as assigned and contribute to continuous process improvement • Requirements o 4 years of diesel technician experience required o Benefits o Competitive pay o 401(k) matching o Health insurance o Paid vacation
