Heavy Equipment Mechanic Full-Time Opportunity Pay:
$35.00 - $45.00/hour (based on experience)
Schedule:
Overtime, weekend, and on-call hours as needed Join a Team That Values Safety, Skill & Professionalism We are seeking an experienced Senior Diesel Technician to join a growing team supporting heavy-duty trucks and equipment operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled mechanic who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in diagnostics, repairs, leadership, and keeping equipment operating at peak performance. If you have strong diesel diagnostic experience, OEM software knowledge, and enjoy mentoring other technicians, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities Perform advanced engine, transmission, and differential repairs/replacements Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engines, electrical systems, and after-treatment systems Utilize OEM diagnostic software such as Cummins, CAT, Volvo, and other platforms Complete DOT inspections and certify repairs Repair air systems, hydraulic systems, and electronic brake systems Conduct road tests, calibrations, and post-repair inspections Support field service work and emergency roadside repairs Maintain accurate maintenance and repair documentation Help monitor maintenance scheduling, equipment reliability, and repair trends Maintain organized tools, parts inventory, and clean work areas Mentor and support junior technicians Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Technical school training in Diesel Mechanics or related field preferred 5- 8 years of heavy-duty truck or equipment repair experience Strong diesel diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities Experience with OEM diagnostic software platforms Valid driver s license with clean driving record required CDL-A preferred Inspector s License preferred Ideal Candidate Will Have Strong mechanical aptitude Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Leadership and mentoring abilities Strong communication and teamwork skills Attention to detail and safety-first mindset Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Working Conditions Shop and field service environments Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and active job sites Frequent lifting of heavy components up to 75 lbs Overtime and on-call work may be required based on operational needs Benefits & Perks Competitive Pay Paid Time Off Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance AFLAC Supplemental Coverage Company Paid Holidays 401(k) with Company Match Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Group Life Insurance Employee Assistance Program Emergency Service Worker Bonus Employee Referral Bonus Carhartt Store Employee Discount Apply Today!
