Job Summary We're looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment/Diesel Mechanic to join our team and help keep our fleet running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, and mechanical systems on heavy equipment and trucks Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, brake inspections, fluid checks, and filter replacements Use diagnostic tools and manuals to troubleshoot issues Maintain detailed service records and repair logs Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with operational standards Manage parts inventory and order supplies as needed Test equipment post-repair to ensure proper performance Collaborate with operators and supervisors to prioritize repairs and minimize downtime Qualifications High school diploma or GED; technical certification preferred 3+ years of experience in diesel and heavy equipment maintenance Strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems Valid driver's license; CDL A preferred ASE certification or equivalent is a plus Preferred Attributes Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills Safety-conscious and committed to continuous improvement Team player with excellent communication skills Compensation & Benefits Employee Stock Ownership Plan ( ESOP )
