Job Description

We're working with a well-respected family owned heavy equipment company that is looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic in the Dodge City area. A person that understands the importance of doing a job correctly and is responsible for repairing and maintaining their fleet of earthmoving and pipeline Heavy Equipment on customers job sites. Heavy Equipment Mechanic Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Maintenance and repair of mechanical, hydro-static, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems Demonstrated abilities to diagnose equipment failures and perform necessary repairs utilizing appropriate diagnostic tools Record and document the diagnoses and procedures, order necessary parts, and estimate time to complete equipment repairs Attends and successfully completes required technician training classes Working knowledge of the hazards and practical application of safety precautions common to equipment
Desired Skills and Experience:
2 years technical training/certification or equivalent heavy equipment industry experience Ability to read schematics and repair mechanical, hydro-static, hydraulic, electrical, and CAN/BUS systems Must maintain a proper minimum set of tools to diagnose, disassemble, and reassemble components for most equipment repairs (specialty tools are provided) Basic oxy/acetylene cutting and welding skills Forklift certification a plus Is this Heavy Equipment Mechanic opportunity for you? is this an opportunity for you if so contact me Valerie Williams at valerie.williams@gogpac.com (912) 303-7336.
