Heavy Equipment Operator:

2401 S. Broadway Ave. Moore, OK 73160, USA. Full-Time. Silver Star Construction, a local road construction company - is seeking Heavy Equipment Operators to drive/operate and control large equipment and vehicles including bulldozers, backhoes, front-end loaders, scraper/tractor pans, track hoes, motor graders, mixers, and water trucks.

Requirements:

Skilled heavy equipment operators with verifiable experience running either some or all of the following equipment: Grader, Dozer, Scraper, Track hoe, Mixer, and Front-end Loader. Unload equipment from vehicles. Knowledge of the machine settings. Maintain equipment functionality often. Keep performance record(s) of machine functionality regularly. Provide preemptive maintenance on equipment to prevent malfunction. Pre trip and post trip inspections/evaluations of the equipment.

Heavy Equipment Operator Skills:

Hand and foot coordination. Good communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to work as a team. Strong critical thinking ability. High attention to detail. Ability to make decisions that prevent accidents and property damage. Physical ability to work in a strenuous work environment and strength to operate heavy equipment. Decision-making abilities.

Qualifications:

Must pass the background check, and drug screen/physical. Must be willing to work outdoors in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold. Must be able to work nights and weekends when necessary. Must be able to work overtime when required. Must be able to perform physical tasks, such as bending, standing, crouching, shoveling, etc. Must adhere to safety requirements and procedures.
