Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery to support construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and precision on-site. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, skid loaders, and other machinery safely and efficiently on construction sites Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards Assist with site preparation activities such as grading, trenching, loading, and hauling materials using front loader trucks and dump trucks. Follow all safety protocols and construction site procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment Collaborate with project managers and team members to execute tasks according to project specifications and timelines Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance activities Skills Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, excavators, backhoes, and front loader trucks Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery operation and troubleshooting Construction site experience with familiarity in various types of jobsites. Ability to interpret technical manuals and safety guidelines effectively Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred for operating large vehicles on or off-site Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to safety compliance Join us in building the future!
