Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Overview Seeking an experienced Equipment Operator for our recycling and material sorting facility. This position operates loaders, excavators, skid steers, and other heavy equipment to move, sort, load, and manage construction and demolition materials safely and efficiently. Operators will assist with maintaining material flow, keeping work areas clean, and supporting daily production goals.

Requirements:

Experience operating heavy equipment Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Willingness to work overtime and rotating shifts as needed Experience in waste, recycling, construction, or dirt work preferred Skills Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, cranes, and related machinery Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues and perform routine maintenance Construction site experience with an understanding of safety standards and operational procedures Familiarity with all construction equipment operations and farm machinery handling is a plus Ability to read technical manuals and operate excavators, skid steer, wheel loaders or similar heavy equipment effectively Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors Join us in building something great! $24.46 - $29.45 per hour
