The Impact You'll Make:

As an Equipment Operator, you will need to safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment on utility and heavy civil construction projects . This role is essential to production, safety, and quality. You will work closely with foremen and field leadership to support successful project execution. You will have the opportunity to:

• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, rollers, and backhoes
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
• Work safely around underground utilities and trench operations
• Support trenching, backfill, grading, and material handling activities
• Follow site safety plans and company policies
• Coordinate with foremen and ground crews
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Support general site operations as needed

Requirements & Experience:

• Proven experience operating heavy equipment in civil construction.
• Strong understanding of safe equipment operation and jobsite awareness.
• Ability to work around utilities and in trenching environments.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
• Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required).

Pay Range:

$26 - 32/hourly pay

• Actual base salary offered varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location
