Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator with CDL to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating various types of heavy machinery on construction sites, ensuring safety, efficiency, and precision in all operations. This role involves working with a range of equipment including bulldozers, loaders, excavators, trackhoes, and operating our trucks, contributing to successful project completion in a timely manner. Duties Operate heavy machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and trackhoes to perform earthmoving, grading, and material handling tasks. Safely operate commercial vehicles including front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, and semi-trucks to transport heavy equipment from one jobsite to another. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards. Assist with site preparation, excavation, backfilling, and grading activities. Follow all safety protocols and construction regulations to maintain a secure work environment. Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines. Experience Minimum 3 years proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, loaders (including front loaders), backhoes, excavators (including Caterpillar models), and trackhoes. Construction site experience is highly preferred. Prior experience working with construction materials such as concrete and earthwork is advantageous. Ability to work in physically demanding environments while maintaining safety standards.
