Heavy Equipment Operator/Truck Driver/mechanic

Duties Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, horizontal drilling rigs, tankers, and paving equipment with precision and safety. Drive commercial trucks including dump trucks and other construction-related vehicles to transport materials between sites and storage facilities. Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Assist in site preparation, grading, excavation, paving, and water management tasks as needed on construction sites. Follow all safety protocols and procedures during equipment operation and truck driving to prevent accidents or injuries. Coordinate with project managers and crew members to ensure timely delivery of materials and efficient workflow. Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance records, and transportation documentation. Experience Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, horizontal drills, tankers, or paving machinery. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record for operating dump trucks or other large vehicles. Mechanical knowledge sufficient to perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on heavy machinery. Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety standards and operational procedures. Knowledge of Caterpillar (CAT) equipment or similar brands is highly desirable. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and quality. Strong communication skills for coordinating tasks effectively across teams.
