Transportation Manager / Superintendent Position Summary The Heavy Haul Driver is responsible for safely transporting heavy equipment, oversized loads, and construction materials to and from project sites throughout Wyoming and surrounding areas. Candidates must have extensive heavy haul experience and maintain compliance with all DOT regulations, company policies, and strict safety standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers, lowboys, and heavy haul equipment. Load, secure, transport, and unload oversized and heavy construction equipment. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain driver logs. Coordinate with dispatch, supervisors, and field crews regarding deliveries and schedules. Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, permitting requirements, and company policies. Perform routine maintenance checks and report equipment issues immediately. Operate safely in remote and challenging terrain and weather conditions. Maintain strict adherence to all company safety protocols, site-specific safety requirements, and OSHA regulations. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of verifiable heavy haul driving experience required. Valid CDL Class A with acceptable driving record required. Experience hauling oversized and overweight loads required. Knowledge of DOT regulations and load securement requirements. Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe operating procedures. Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and travel as needed.
