Position Overview:
Are you ready to join a high-energy team dedicated to the future of renewable energy? We are looking for dependable Crew Members to join our 3-5 person team in Gainestown, AL. This is a year-round, full-time role focused on the precise maintenance of solar fields grounds. You'll be utilizing our specialized methodology and other mechanical methods to manage vegetation across critical energy infrastructure. This is a full-time role, Monday- Friday. Key Responsibilities:
Vegetation Management:
Perform professional-grade mowing and weed eating to ensure solar arrays remain unobstructed and efficient.
Herbicide Application:
Conduct targeted herbicide by means of wicking and spot spraying. Strictly follow all hazard prevention and safety measures for handling, mixing, and applying chemicals in accordance with Alabama ROW standards.
Equipment Operation:
Safely operate Zero Turn Mowers, ASV skid steers, Kubota tractors/UTV, and Wicking attachments. Maintain strict adherence to all equipment safety protocols to prevent site damage and injury.
Emergency Services:
Provide emergency maintenance or site cleanup as requested by the client to ensure immediate site safety.
Equipment Care:
Perform routine maintenance on all crew machinery (skid steers, mowers, UTVs, wicking attachments, trimmers, sprayers, etc..) to ensure peak performance and safe operation.
Safety & Collaboration:
Work effectively within a 3-5 person crew. Follow all state, company, and client-mandated safety regulations to meet daily production targets without incident.
Qualifications:
Licensing:
Must possess a valid Alabama Commercial Pesticide License with the ROW (Right-of-Way) endorsement , or be willing and able to obtain it prior to your start date.
Work Ethic:
Honest, trustworthy, and industrious.
Physical Ability:
Ability to work outdoors year-round in Alabama weather conditions and perform manual labor that can range from minimally strenuous to high strenuous depending on the task.
Driver's License:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (Required); CDL is a plus.
Safety Mindset:
Knowledge of herbicides and a strict commitment to environmental and safety regulations.
Screening:
Ability to pass a drug test and participate in a background check (Required). Why Join Our Team?
