We are seeking a dedicated Home Health Aide to join our team, where you'll play a vital role in helping elderly or disabled individuals live with dignity and comfort in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities Personal Care:
Assist clients with daily tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Medication Support:
Provide timely medication reminders and assist clients with prescribed exercises to promote their health.
Meal Preparation:
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to clients' dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary.
Household Management:
Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients.
Health Monitoring:
Monitor and record vital signs, promptly reporting any changes to the supervising nurse to ensure optimal care.
Emotional Support:
Offer companionship and emotional support, fostering a warm and caring relationship with each client.
Care Plan Adherence:
Follow individualized care plans closely and maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications Senior & Dementia Care:
Experience in senior care, including dementia care, is highly valued. Not required but advantage is a plus!
Medical Knowledge:
Familiarity with medical terminology and HIPAA regulations is essential for maintaining the confidentiality of medical records.
Culinary Skills:
Ability to prepare nutritious meals in accordance with specific dietary restrictions.
Record Keeping:
Proficiency in using medical documentation systems to ensure precise and up-to-date record keeping.
Certification:
Certification as a Home Health Aide or completion of a formal training program is a strong plus.
