• Teach high school students English Language Arts.
• Develop lesson plans aligned with the Massachusetts Frameworks.
• Teach using various methodologies, including lectures, demonstrations, discussions, and laboratory experiences.
• Plan, develop, and utilize various instructional materials and aids appropriate to the intellectual and instructional level of pupils from varied socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds with a range of mental and emotional maturity.
• Provide group and individual instruction to motivate pupils and effectively utilize the time available for instructional activities.
• Administer, score, record, and report the results of assessments that evaluate student growth and progress.
• Counsel, confer with, and communicate with parents and school/district personnel regarding pupil progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to school improvement efforts.

The District seeks a high school English Language Arts teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The candidate shall hold all certifications required to teach English Language Arts in Massachusetts for grades 9-12.
