Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Math Teacher to join our team at EC Middle / High School. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop a strong foundation in mathematical concepts, foster critical thinking skills, and encourage a love for learning. This full-time position requires a commitment to academic excellence and the ability to engage students in a dynamic learning environment. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state curriculum standards. Teach a variety of math subjects, including Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, and Statistics, to high school students. Assess and evaluate student progress through regular assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration. Utilize technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance the learning experience. Communicate regularly with students, parents, and staff regarding student performance and progress. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and curriculum changes. Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives. Supervise and mentor students, providing guidance and support as needed. Contribute to the school community through involvement in extracurricular activities and events. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field. Valid teaching certification or license in Mathematics for high school level. Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts and effective teaching strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment for students. Experience in teaching high school mathematics preferred. Proficiency in using educational technology and software. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive classroom.
