Job Goal:
The High School Testing Coordinator provides coordination and support for the administration of the high school assessment program.
Performance Responsibilities:
Plans and implements all federal, state and district assessments (EOCEP, AP, ACT/SAT, WIN, etc.…) and required surveys to ensure compliance with all local, state and federal policies and guidelines. Develops and implements the school-wide master testing schedule, including setting up testing locations, organizing materials, and managing secure storage. Ensures all testing procedures strictly follow SCDE guidelines to maintain test security and integrity. Analyzes and communicates assessment data to assist school leadership in understanding student performance trends and instructional needs. Trains teachers, proctors, and volunteers on proper testing administration, accommodations, and ethical protocols. Coordinates with appropriate staff to ensure IEP, 504, and multilingual learner testing accommodations are documented and implemented appropriately. Attends regular training and work sessions with the District Test Coordinator to ensure effective administration of all state and district required assessments and surveys. Coordinates the use of WIN Learning Courseware to prepare students for the WIN Learning Career Readiness Assessment. Maintains a strong knowledge base of the Cohort Maintenance process (with support from district leaders) to ensure accountability metrics such as graduation rate, on track to graduate, and college and career readiness are accurate at the school level. Supports the collection, organization, and analysis of school data within the district's Ci3T framework. Works with the district curriculum department and District Testing Coordinator to support: coordinating College and Career Readiness Data improvement at the school level. school renewal plans (strategic planning) and the required annual updates. use of data resources like eduCLIMBER and Admin Navigator. Attend regular meetings and trainings to build capacity in the use of these resources. Coordinates with school and district technology personnel to ensure readiness of devices, testing platforms, and secure browser requirements for online assessments. Maintains clear communication with families, staff, students, and district leadership regarding assessment timelines, protocols, required supports, and administrative standards. Other duties as assigned.
Terms of Employment:
190-day contract, 7.5 hours per day, on the Teacher Salary Schedule based on South Carolina certificate class and experience. Exempt level position.
Evaluation:
Job Performance evaluated annually in accordance with Board policy on evaluation of professional personnel.
