Responsibilities Prepare and pack food orders efficiently, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation Assist in food handling, ensuring proper storage, cleanliness, and adherence to health regulations Support front-of-house operations by bussing tables, managing guest relations, and providing excellent customer service Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours, including night shifts and peak dining times Maintain cleanliness in food prep areas and dining spaces, following sanitation protocols Support the restaurant team with basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management Skills Experience with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable is highly desirable Strong background in food industry roles such as food preparation, serving, or bussing in a restaurant or nightclub setting Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Previous experience in fine dining or high-volume restaurants is a plus Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and inventory counts Join us at Hillsdale Great Wall Restaurant where your energy fuels our success!
