Shift Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Service & Maintenance Technician to join our Equipment Management Warehouse team. This role involves inspecting, maintaining, and repairing lifting and transport equipment, ensuring all work meets safety and manufacturer standards. This is a hands-on position in a collaborative team environment, with full training provided for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Inspect and register new and existing lifting equipment Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance Diagnose faults and carry out repairs across: Mechanical systems, Electrical systems, Hydraulic systems, Instrumentation systems Conduct electrical safety testing in line with standards Assemble and disassemble transport equipment Maintain accurate service and inspection documentation Follow all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation as required Required Qualifications Proven experience in equipment maintenance and repair Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems Ability to diagnose faults and perform effective repairs Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team Basic computer skills (MS Office or similar) Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with lifting or heavy equipment Electrical safety testing experience Background in industrial or service environments Familiarity with preventative maintenance practices Experience with breakdown support and process improvement
