About Kaizen Sports Performance Kaizen Sports Performance is a premier baseball training program built on the principle of continuous improvement — because that's what "kaizen" means. We specialize in high-level hitting and pitching development for athletes ages 8 through 18+. Our coaches are invested professionals who take pride in developing not just athletic skills, but the mindset and discipline required to compete at the highest levels of the game. The Opportunity We are hiring a Hitting Instructor to join our coaching staff on a part-time or full-time basis. This is a serious coaching role for someone who views player development as a career — not a side hustle. You will work with athletes ranging from youth beginners to competitive 18+ players, delivering private lessons and group sessions that drive real, measurable improvement. This position starts as an hourly role with a clear path to a salaried position for the right candidate. Responsibilities Conduct Hitting sessions for athletes ages 8-18+ Assess and develop hitter mechanics, bat path, timing, and overall approach at the plate Track each athlete's progress and provide clear, consistent communication to families Collaborate with fellow coaches on curriculum development and programming Maintain a high-energy, professional environment in every session Represent Kaizen Sports Performance with professionalism inside and outside the facility Qualifications Playing or coaching experience at the high school level or beyond (college and professional experience a plus) Strong foundational knowledge of hitting mechanics and player development principles Excellent communication skills with athletes of all ages and their parents Reliable, punctual, and professional — you show up prepared every time Comfortable working in a team-oriented coaching environment Open to mentorship and continued growth as a coach Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate brings more than knowledge of the game.
