Hoag Hall Coordinator

Job Description Primary Duties Event Coordination and Planning Arranges meetings with clients to discuss event setup (staging, props, set design, etc.), personnel (coordinate stage crew as necessary to execute said event), technical (includes sound, lighting, and occasional set design), and all other event needs. Prepares event overview document and shares this with stakeholders. Event Management Coordinates and oversees event setup, manages execution (stage manage, technically direct, direct), manages stage crew, and coordinates and supervises strike (take-down) of all events, rehearsals, and classes that occur on the stage and in the lobby and foyer. Hoag Hall Cleaning and Maintenance Manages and supports the maintenance of a clean stage and auditorium. This involves coordinating proper maintenance work with Facilities to maintain a clean auditorium, lobby, foyer, and performance area for every event. Oversees all aspects of maintenance for Hoag Hall and keeps stakeholders informed of maintenance needs. This includes minor building repair, painting, changing light bulbs, etc., as well as overseeing large maintenance, repair, or rebuild projects. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree. Experience with basic building maintenance. Experience with event planning and management. Preferred Qualifications Rigger certification. Familiarity with sound mixer, lighting controls, general stage equipment. Additional Job Description Employment-Based Immigration Sponsorship is not available for this position.
