Home Health Aide $17.00 per hour 20 hours per week 10:30a-2:30p weekly pay 112 Amms Lane, Harleyville, SC 29448 $17 an hour - Part-time $17 an hour - Part-time Job Summary Join our compassionate team as a Home Health Aide, providing vital support to individuals in their homes to promote independence, comfort, and well-being. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through personalized care and attentive service. As a Home Health Aide, you will work closely with clients to assist with daily activities, monitor health status, and ensure a safe and supportive environment. This position is perfect for dedicated caregivers eager to bring energy, empathy, and professionalism to home health care. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patients' conditions, noting changes in health or behavior and reporting findings accurately Help with medication reminders and administration following proper protocols Support with meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe living environment Use Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems or Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems to document care activities and patient information securely Provide specialized care for clients with dementia, Alzheimer's, or other memory-related conditions, including memory care techniques Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care, vital signs monitoring, or using assistive devices like Hoyer lifts Requirements Proven experience in home health care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care settings Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Certification in CPR and first aid required; additional certifications such as medication administration or hospice care are a plus Ability to work independently within the scheduled hours of 10:30 am to 2:30 pm for 20 hours weekly Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general is highly valued Strong patient observation skills and the ability to respond calmly in emergency situations Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred for home visits when applicable This role offers an enriching environment where your caregiving skills can truly shine.
