Home Health Aide

Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to ensure health stability Administer medications accurately following medical instructions and document all medical records in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care techniques and behavioral management strategies Support patients with medical procedures such as catheter care, wound dressing, and hospice care as directed by healthcare professionals Assist with meal preparation and nutritional needs while ensuring food safety and dietary restrictions are followed Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment that complies with HIPAA privacy standards Skills Strong patient observation skills to detect changes in health status promptly Experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments with long-term care experience Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation and record keeping Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to home health care settings Ability to assist with mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts and perform transfers safely Excellent caregiving skills for working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges Familiarity with medication administration protocols and HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Compassionate approach to senior care, hospice support, dementia care, and memory care needs Capable of handling emergency situations including CPR certification and responding effectively to health crises Join our team if you're passionate about providing compassionate home health services that empower clients to live comfortably and safely in their own homes.
