Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse to provide personalized care for patients in the home and hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with experience in critical care and hospital settings. This role requires a dedicated professional who can deliver high-quality medical care while fostering a supportive environment for patients and their families. Duties Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments. Perform wound care, including suture management and dressing changes. Conduct specimen collection and processing as required. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care. Provide critical care support for patients with complex health needs. Assist with infant care, ensuring safety and comfort during nursing interventions. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and families on health management, medication administration, and post-operative care. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and best practices within the home environment. Qualifications Valid nursing license (RN) in the state of practice. Proven experience in home care or critical care settings is preferred. Knowledge of medical records management and documentation standards. Strong skills in medication administration and patient assessment. Ability to perform essential nursing skills such as wound care, suture management, and specimen collection processing.
