Home Service Worker

Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including seniors and individuals with disabilities. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide personal care while respecting the dignity and privacy of clients. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary needs. Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment. Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to enhance their quality of life. Assist with mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary. Maintain confidentiality of client information in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop effective care plans tailored to individual needs. Experience Candidates should possess experience or skills in the following areas: Familiarity with patient observation techniques and monitoring for changes in condition. Knowledge of caregiving practices including meal preparation, cleaning, patient monitoring, and medication reminder is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment are crucial for success in this role.
