Job Summary:

We are seeking skilled and compassionate Hospital Admissions Coordinators to join our team at Northbrook Behavioral Health Hospital in Blackwood, NJ. As a member of our admissions team, you will be responsible for coordinating the intake process for patients, ensuring seamless transitions from admission into treatment, and providing exceptional customer service to patients and families. Shift will be 11pm-7am and include 2 weekends per months. Some daytime availability is required as Northbrook Orientation will be a full week 8am-4pm, and Admissions specific training will be scheduled separately.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate the admission process, including verifying patient information, medical record entry, insurance verifications Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure timely and accurate patient admissions Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and databases Identify and address any barriers to admission or treatment

Requirements:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience:

1 year of experience in a healthcare setting (admissions exp/behavioral health preferred)

Working Environment:

Per Diem position with varying shifts, including evenings and weekends Fast-paced and dynamic hospital environment with a focus on patient-centered care
