Overview 1. Role of the
Box Pro & Ideal Candidate Role Overview:
The Box Pro is more than an instructor—they are your business partner and the face of your Tee Box location.
They are responsible for:
Delivering world-class coaching through the Tee Box Method. Conducting professional-level club fittings. Driving membership growth through relationship-based sales. Creating and maintaining an engaged, welcoming community. Managing facility systems, technology, and daily operations. Supporting the growth and success of your Tee Box as a startup business.

Hungry, entrepreneurial mindset: understands they are helping build and grow a new business. Passion for golf and improving players' skills, including the physical/fitness aspects of golf. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented and proactive in member experience, operations, and coaching. Tech-savvy with the ability to leverage Trackman, Sportsbox, and BOX OS. Lifelong learner who pursues ongoing certifications and professional growth. Key Alignment with

Leads with energy, positivity, and kindness. Puts members first—focuses on experiences, not just transactions. Understands and embraces the "Coaching. Clubs. Community." approach. Experienced or knowledgeable in player development, fitness, and the physical side of the golf swing. Experience Required These are required upon hire but are not required as part of the application process. TPI Certified Trackman Certified BoxPro AI Certified Essential Responsibilities Membership Management - Conduct Box Assessments (TPI screens, Sportsbox 3D, Trackman), deliver onboarding sessions, manage member systems, and drive retention through proactive engagement. Golf Instruction & On Demand Coaching - Provide coaching sessions using technology-driven feedback, offer On Demand Coaching (remote swing reviews, practice guidance). Club Fitting & Sales - Run fittings using Trackman and industry tech, drive retail sales, and build long-term equipment relationships with members. TBX Academy - Oversee scheduling and curriculum blending golf and fitness; collaborate with coaches to deliver best-in-class academy programs. Events & Community Engagement - Organize leagues, outings, and showcases; host open houses and tours; foster community and growth. Operational Excellence - Maintain facility standards, oversee Trackman/Sportsbox/gym upkeep, monitor inventory, and enforce member code of conduct. Qualifications 5+ years golf industry experience (instruction, operations, or management) Success in golf instruction, familiar with TPI principles and technology-driven coaching Club fitting expertise with Trackman knowledge PGA certification preferred, not required Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on relationships and community Organized, multitasker, tech-comfortable Able to work evenings/weekends and perform facility duties (lifting up to 25 lbs, bending, etc.) Passion for golf, fitness, and player development Benefits $400/month health insurance stipend (not included in total compensation package)
