City of Surprise, AZ - 4.2 Surprise, AZ Job Details Part-time $31.98 - $44.75 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications CPR Certification Volunteer management Sports coaching First aid Mid-level Administrative experience High school diploma or GED Schedule management First Aid Certification Recruiting Lesson planning Classroom Teaching 2 years Staffing management Teaching Full Job Description SUMMARY Incumbents develop, lead, instruct, and evaluate tennis, pickleball and other racquet sport class and lesson programs. Responsibilities include preparing and coordinating the master schedule; staffing specific programs, including the recruitment of instructors and officials; and overseeing Associate Tennis Pros, part time staff, and volunteers. Incumbents also perform administrative duties, such as compiling data, preparing reports, and soliciting bids. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or G.E.D., and two years teaching experience as a head tennis/racquet sport professional. Additional education cannot be substituted for experience.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have at time of hire, or be able to obtain within sixty (60) days of hire, a Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) Level 3 Tennis Certification or United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) Level 3 Tennis Certification, or higher. Must have at time of hire, or be able to obtain within sixty (60) days of hire, First Aid & CPR certifications. Pickleball certification preferred.
SELECTION PROCESS
