Job Description

Overview Job Summary:
Assists Head Golf Professional by assisting and rendering professional advice, opinions, and marketing services Experience Required Minimum Qualifications and Skill Requirements High School Diploma required (4-Year College Degree preferred); or equivalent combination of education and experience. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have club repair skills. Basic math skills, the ability to write and communicate clearly required Experience handling customer service issues, cash and credit card transactions Able to handle complaints gracefully and problem solve quickly and efficiently. Possesses a professional demeanor; able to use appropriate levels of tact and courtesy. Must have excellent communication and leadership skills, Must be able to perform effectively as a team player Must be able to perform and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment Essential Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintains the pro shop environment by keeping the shop neat and orderly: straightening and stocking merchandise, assisting with display of new merchandise and vacuuming the shop each day and as needed; following corporate guidelines for opening and closing duties, including cash handling responsibilities; tallying tee sheet at end of day Maintain a professional and service-oriented environment in the pro shop by providing excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Helps conduct tournaments and golf promotions Maintains knowledge of teaching methodologies in the golf industry Repairs clubs Additional Responsibilities Handle member/guest service issues in a prompt and effective manner Utilize "ACE Service Absolutes" by acknowledging, greeting and thanking all members and guests. May manage other co-workers in specific projects Implement and support all AGC initiatives and programs as requested by management Other duties may be assigned by management. Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Benefits $18.00-$20.00 per hour
