Job Description

Overview General Summary The First Assistant Golf Professional serves as the primary support to the Director of Golf and may assume Director responsibilities in their absence. This role is responsible for promoting the game of golf at Canyon Crest Country Club by delivering exceptional service to all members and guests. Experience Required Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience preferred Certificates, Licenses & Registrations Valid California Driver's License Associate or Member status with the PGA Essential Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Assist the Director of Golf in overseeing daily golf shop and course operations, ensuring efficient and high-quality service Manage and reconcile daily golf shop revenue, including safeguarding funds, and balancing accounts. Schedule tee times and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system Build and maintain strong relationships with members, guests, and community partners Supervise and support golf operations staff Create and manage staff schedules for the golf team Handle special requests from members and guests in a professional and timely manner Maintain and categorize inventory within the system Coordinate and prepare details for golf outings and events Order and manage golf shop merchandise and equipment inventory Provide golf instruction to members and guests as requested Perform additional duties as assigned
