ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly motivated, growth-minded coach to join the Cardinal Tennis Clinics & Hoyt Tennis Coaching team. The Head Tennis Professional will split their time across two complementary programs: leading evening junior clinics at Stanford University with CTC, and driving the full-time coaching operation at Foothill College and partner locations with HTC — including private lessons, camps, and program development.ABOUT CARDINAL TENNIS CLINICS

(HTC) Cardinal Tennis Clinics (CTC) — Stanford University CTC is one of the fastest-growing junior tennis academies in the Bay Area, operating out of Stanford University's world-class tennis facilities. We serve 100+ junior players weekly through school-year-round evening clinic programs, and are expanding significantly in 2026 with 12 new courts. CTC is where community meets elite tennis infrastructure. Hoyt Tennis Coaching (HTC) — Foothill College & Partner Locations HTC runs a full-time coaching operation based at Foothill College, offering private lessons, structured programs, and seasonal camps. HTC serves players across a range of ages and levels, providing a stable, high-volume environment for coaches who want both consistent income and meaningful player development work. Together, CTC and HTC offer a uniquely broad coaching role — Stanford's prestige and community energy in the evenings, combined with a robust full-time program during the day.OUR VISION

Coach at Stanford University's world-class facilities (evenings) and Foothill College (days) Join a highly experienced team of former pros and elite college coaches Full-time, stable position combining clinic leadership with private lessons and camps Pathway for advancement as both academies expand Strong, supportive coaching culture grounded in shared values High demand for private lessons — most coaches fill their books within weeks Competitive compensation with a stable, growing player base across two programsKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Cardinal Tennis Clinics — Stanford University (Evenings) Lead 10-15 hours of junior evening clinics weekly at Stanford Lead Junior Development and/or Mini Tennis programs Lead Performance Programs and match-play sessions Mentor and coordinate with junior coaches on the CTC team Hoyt Tennis Coaching — Foothill College & Partner Locations (Days) Deliver 10-25 private lessons weekly across HTC locations Support and lead camps and structured programs throughout the year Assist with scheduling, program administration, and curriculum planning Across Both Programs Provide clear, timely feedback to players and families Contribute to curriculum development and coaching standardsREQUIREMENTS - ESSENTIAL
Proven coaching experience in junior development or high-performance settings Strong technical knowledge across ages and levels Excellent communication and leadership abilities Ability to work independently and manage sessions Strong organizational and time-management skills (key for managing a split-location schedule) Fluent English speaker Eligible to work in the United StatesREQUIREMENTS - PREFERRED
USPTA or PTR Level 1 Certification (required for insurance purposes) High-level playing / hitting ability Familiarity with long-term athlete development Experience with fitness and athletic development for juniors Experience with program administration or schedulingCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS
