Tennis Professional/Assistant Tournament Director

Tennis Professional/Tournament Assistant Reuts Academy is seeking an experienced and passionate Coaching Tennis Professional and tournament assistant. Our culture is driven by energy, effort, and excellence, and we are seeking a dynamic individual to coach players AND support tournament operations across USTA and UTR events. Position Overview This hybrid role is ideal for a certified tennis professional who is also organized and experienced in tournament operations. You'll coach on-court with our junior development programs and help execute competitive events on weekends in partnership with the Tournament Director. Qualifications Certified by USPTA, PTR, ITF, or ITPA (or equivalent) Minimum 4 years coaching experience with proven success in junior development Strong understanding of modern stroke technique, progressions, and player psychology Emotionally intelligent, patient, trustworthy, and energetic Strong communication skills and ability to connect with players and parents

Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging group and private tennis lessons across skill levels Implement the Reuts methodology and follow our development curriculum Assist or lead pods, clinics, and training sessions under the guidance of the Director of High Performance Provide technical, tactical, and mental performance feedback Supervise courts and assistant coaches during clinics and match play Mentor players and foster a growth mindset within the academy culture Help with basic court maintenance, setup, and clean-up Tournament Assistant Responsibilities Assist with tournament setup, check-in, and teardown Run the tournament desk: schedule matches, enter scores, manage walkovers or withdrawals Monitor court assignments and keep matches running on time Provide excellent customer service and communication with players, parents, and officials Ensure the event follows

USTA/UTR

standards, Safe Play protocols, and sportsmanship expectations Update brackets, help resolve issues, and maintain a professional tournament environment Safe Play-approved (REQUIRED) (If not Safe Play approved must be able to get approved before beginning role if selected) Prior experience directing or assisting in

USTA/UTR

junior and/or adult tournaments is a plus Detail-oriented, reliable, punctual Comfortable using tournament software such as TDM, Serve Tennis, or UTR desk tools Availability on weekends, including early mornings or late afternoons

Compensation:

Tennis Assistant Pay:

$50-70/hr

Tournament Assistant Pay:

$15-$20/hr

Schedule:

This is a part-time position requiring 9-25 hours per week. Scheduling is determined by the Director of High Performance and player development and may vary seasonally or based on the needs of the academy. This role offers an excellent part time opportunity to join a supportive, dynamic high performance coaching team while helping players thrive by reaching their competitive tennis goals. As a Reuts development coach you will align with the Academy vision to produce high performing varsity, collegiate and tour level players.
