Job Description

Overview Frenchman's Reserve Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens is a premier private community and has been recognized as a Platinum Club of America since 2016, ranked among the Top 100 Country Clubs nationwide. Known for delivering "luxury in a relaxed setting," the Club offers an exceptional lifestyle with outstanding service, year-round programming, and a welcoming membership culture. At the center of the experience is the Arnold Palmer Signature Golf Course, complemented by world-class amenities including a Grande Clubhouse, spa and fitness center, multiple dining venues, seven lighted Hydrogrid clay tennis courts, pickleball, resort-style pool, children's activity center, card rooms, and guest suites. With a limited number of residences and a close-knit membership, Frenchman's Reserve provides an intimate, high-quality private club environment. Position Overview The Assistant Golf Professional supports the Director of Golf in delivering a world-class member experience at Frenchman's Reserve. This role is integral to daily golf operations, including tee sheet management, customer service, tournament execution, and supporting service standards across the golf operation, with opportunities to grow and take ownership of key programs and events. Experience Required Candidates should have prior golf operations and customer service experience in a private club or high-volume facility. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a team-first approach are essential. PGA Membership/PGM enrollment and previous Assistant Golf Professional experience are preferred and considered a plus. Essential Responsibilities Deliver exceptional member and guest service throughout the golf operation Support daily golf shop operations, including opening/closing procedures, POS transactions, and tee sheet management Assist with starting operations, pace of play, cart staging, practice facility readiness, and bag storage standards Plan and execute tournaments and club events (setup, rules sheets, scoring, results, prizes) Support and help lead Outside Services staff to ensure consistent service standards Provide instruction as needed (private lessons, clinics, and player development programs) Assist with handicap administration (GHIN/score posting, basic handicap support) Support merchandising initiatives including displays, inventory control, receiving, and sales Coordinate and communicate effectively with other departments to deliver seamless member experiences Maintain a professional presence and represent Frenchman's Reserve in accordance with club standards Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Golf Benefits Medical (Health) Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan (with employer contribution/match) Accrued Paid Vacation Golf Privileges Uniforms / Apparel Allowance Professional Development Support (PGA dues and/or education assistance, summer tournaments)
