Job Description

Burnt Store Marina Country Club, located in Punta Gorda, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time, Assistant Golf Professional! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Key Responsibilities
  • Assists with day-to-day golf shop operations, including check-in, tee times, merchandise sales, and member service
  • Supports tournament operations, leagues, clinics, and club events
  • Provides professional instruction to golfers of all skill levels
  • Maintains pace of play and ensures an enjoyable on-course experience
  • Assists with outside operations, cart fleet readiness, and practice facility presentation
  • Helps manage inventory, merchandising displays, and special orders
  • Upholds club standards and creates a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests
  • Supports the Head Golf Professional and management team with administrative duties as needed Qualifications
  • Previous golf operations or customer service experience preferred
  • PGA Associate or PGA Member status preferred (or desire to pursue)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized, dependable, and team-oriented
  • Knowledge of golf rules, tournament formats, and point-of-sale systems a plus
