Job Description

Assist the Head Golf Professional and Assistant Golf Professionals on the daily management of golf operations. Assist with golfer check-in and fee collection; control and manage play; reconciles daily tee sheets. Assist in administering all point of sales application revisions and needs as it applies to green fee sales, merchandise sales, and member/guest billing. Promotes all club golf activities. Assist with maintaining a clean, orderly, and well-stocked golf shop. Assist with maintaining proper records and billing of storage and lockers for membership. Assist golf professionals during tournaments and weekly games. Monitors all members' scores, reports handicapping to USGA and bills members. Follows established opening and closing procedures. Incorporates safe work practices in job performance. Performs other duties as required. Prefer previous golf course and/or retail experience. High School Diploma. Prefer some College or College Degree, or equivalent experience. Must be motivated to thrive in the golf industry. Experienced in written and oral business communication. Experienced in computer user including Microsoft Word, Excel, & Publisher. Proficient in other applications, i.e., email, internet, and database. Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills. Self-motivated with desire to promote and market. Service and customer focused attitude. Maintain and promote a positive professional image within the community.
