Job Description
Framingham Country Club is currently seeking Golf Shop Manager to serve our members and guests. This seasonal position will begin between between June 1st and November 30th. Candidates must be available to work a combination of weekday and weekends and be available to work mornings or afternoons. This position will predominantly be working in an indoor environment at a private country club. Candidates should have past experience working in hospitality either in private club, restaurant or hotel environments.
Responsibilities include:
- Greet and welcome members and guests to the course
- Provide members and their guests with exceptional service and attention to their needs
- Provide members with thoroughly cleaned and organized golf shop
- Assist member and their guests with their daily needs pre and post rounds of golf.
- Uphold club policies, rules and regulations.
- Order and receive merchandise as needed.
- Merchandise golf shop inventory daily.
- Assist in golf tournament set-up and execution as needed
- Assist the Golf Professional staff in other functions as necessary, including daily billing to member accounts. Qualified candidates will have the following:
- Basic knowledge of golf
- Previous hospitality experience is a required. College degree preferred.
- The ability to interact well with others
- Ability to work as a team
- Demonstrate initiative
- Ability to work morning, evening and weekend shifts
- Must have a current valid driver's license
