We are seeking an Assistant Golf Professional who portrays an image of professionalism, class, and sophistication to lead our golf operations and ensure every member round exceeds expectations. The Position The Assistant Golf Professional is a foundational member of our team. Reporting to the Head Golf Professional, you will be the "boots on the ground" ensuring that every member's transition from the car to the first tee is seamless. This is a developmental role designed to provide you with the mentorship and experience necessary to advance within the PGA of America. Experience Required
  • Level 1 Associate or higher in the PGA PGM program preferred, or a strong desire to enroll and pursue a career as a PGA Member.
  • 0-3 years of experience in golf operations. We are willing to train a candidate with the right attitude and a "hospitality-first" mindset.
  • A polished image of sophistication and a genuine passion for the game of golf.
  • Familiarity with Golf Genius, Point of Sale (POS) systems, and Microsoft Office is a plus. Physical Requirements & Expectations
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments across various weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and occasionally lift or carry up to 50 pounds. Essential Responsibilities Member Service & Daily Operations
  • Act as the primary point of contact in the Golf Shop, providing a warm, professional welcome to all members and guests.
  • Coordinate daily play and guest registration using industry-leading software to ensure an organized and efficient flow of play.
  • Monitor pace of play and patrol the course to ensure all members are enjoying a championship-caliber experience.
  • Manage the GHIN handicap system and assist members with equipment needs, including internal and external club repairs. Tournaments & Programs
  • Play a key role in the setup and operation of our robust Member Tournament calendar—assisting with scoring, staging, and post-event coordination.
  • Assist in the delivery of our Junior Golf Programs, helping to create a fun and instructional environment for the next generation of Loch Lloyd golfers.
  • Conduct individual and group lessons under the mentorship of our senior professional staff to build your teaching portfolio and generate personal revenue. Retail & Presentation
  • Maintain the LLCC aesthetic of the Golf Shop through creative displays, organization, and proactive sales of the latest golf technology and apparel.
  • Assist in the daily supervision and training of the Player Services team to ensure bag room and range operations are flawless.
