Job Description
Ready to make a difference, be outside and put your work into athletic fields? Want the opportunity to dedicate the time and energy to make your work really pop, instead of being in a 'get it done' mentality? Job Overview We are looking to add three Team Members, to the U Crew - our Groundskeeping Division. As the primary team responsible for the upkeep, preparation, and maintenance of the sports complexes and ballfields we manage the U Crew ensures the fields are well-maintained and ready for play and visitors. Requires a driven, caring, and prideful individual who works well independently within a team environment. Specifically seeking candidates willing and able to work weekends (morning - late afternoon) with weekday mid-late-afternoon to early evening hours also available. Duties include, but not are not limited to: Preparing playing surfaces. Setting game and/or practice fields for play. Execute groundskeeping responsibilities to keep properties clean and visually appealing. Identifying areas of needed improvement within the complex and working to make the necessary fixes. Product application may be included, if/when applicable. Cross-training throughout all teams within the Groundskeeping Division is expected. Requirements Possess a valid driver's license and be insurable. Physically able to perform assigned and expected duties of the Groundskeeping Division. Ability and willingness to work outside in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Effective communication. Properly use, care, and maintain equipment. Previous experience playing, coaching, or working in outdoor sports, helpful, but not required. Join us in creating beautiful outdoor spaces for our athletes, coaches, families and teams.
