Description
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional practice facility and golf car fleet while providing exceptional customer service. Duties include assisting fellow staff with daily operations, ensuring equipment and practice areas are properly stocked and maintained, monitoring the facility for cleanliness and guest needs, and representing Rockwind Community Links in a professional and cooperative manner. Performs other duties as assigned to support overall golf course goals and member satisfaction. Essential Duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Responsible to continually monitor, implement and adhere to all golf course goals, procedures and controls. Must be a leader in customer service and satisfaction that exceeds expectations. Assist fellow player services staff in maintaining a clean and professional practice facility. Assist fellow player services staff in the daily duties and responsibilities of maintaining a professional golf car fleet. Shall always represent Rockwind Community Links in an exemplary manner. Maintain a clean and professional appearance in the workplace. Ensure that practice facility is set up in the morning and practice balls are stocked throughout the day. Pick the driving range and clean range balls using equipment provided, as needed. Monitor the driving range continuously to ensure baskets are put away, excess trash is removed and customers receive exemplary service. Bring out golf carts from the cart barn to the staging area as needed for guests. Drive golf carts in a safe manner, without exception, and park golf cars neatly in space provided. Provide excellent customer service and enthusiasm to answer any and all questions and requests from our guests. Keep the perimeter of the clubhouse and the driving range free from debris and trash. Dump all trash cans around the clubhouse and driving range as needed during the day and at the close of business. Assist with efforts to keep the golf cart fleet clean and properly maintained. Keep the cart barn, work area and equipment clean and organized. Using the wash bay, wash golf carts, seats, bag well, fender wells, top canopy, tires, wheels, glove box and floor board, and thoroughly towel dry entire body of golf carts. Responsible for minor maintenance of golf carts and equipment. Greet each Rockwind customer in a friendly manner. NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES
May serve on various employee committees or meetings, as required and assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience:
Some experience in the golf industry or playing golf is required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Self-motivated and ability to multi-task. Outgoing personality and excellent customer service skills.
LICENSING AND CERTIFICATIONS
Valid state issued driver's license.
SUPERVISON RECEIVED
Under the general supervision of the Golf General Manager/Head Pro, Rockwind Director of Instruction/Community Engagement, Golf Operations Coordinator, and Recreation Director, Physical Demands & Work Environment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. to waist height. Some repetitive motion required including computer entry. Frequent bending, turning, kneeling and stooping. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods. Normal vision and hearing ranges required. Regular attendance and overtime required for scheduled shifts.

The City of Hobbs will provide 80% to 90% Heath Insurance Coverage from Single to Family coverage. Employees are eligible for 100% short-term disability coverage provided by the City of Hobbs.   • $6,000 per year (if applicable). PTO accruals start at 12 hours per month (144 hours per year) and progressively increase based on years of service to 20 hours per month (240 hours per year) at year 21. Bilingual Pay
