About Us:
We are an emerging Professional American Football League with ambitious goals to grow our brand and build strong partnerships. As we prepare for an exciting future, we are seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead our league's brand presence and sponsorship sales through the 2027 season.
Role Overview:
As General Manager, your primary focus will be as the league's chief brand ambassador. You will drive sponsorship sales and build lasting corporate partnerships, elevating the league's visibility and revenue. Your leadership will be key in shaping how the league is perceived both on and off the field during this foundational period.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent the league at industry events, meetings, and media appearances to promote brand awareness. Develop and execute strategies to identify, engage, and secure sponsorship deals. Cultivate strong relationships with existing and potential sponsors. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to align brand messaging and sponsorship opportunities. Oversee contract negotiations and ensure sponsor deliverables are met. Report regularly on sponsorship sales performance and brand exposure.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sports management, brand representation, or sponsorship sales (preferably in professional sports). Strong network and ability to engage with corporate partners and stakeholders. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinker with results-driven approach.
