Gymnastics Instructor Warwick Dance and Gymnastics Academy Warwick, RI Job Details Part-time | Full-time $22 - $30 an hour 10 hours ago Benefits On-the-job training Employee discount Qualifications High school diploma or GED Education Developing new training programs Gymnastics Leadership Teaching Full Job Description A gymnastics coach is responsible for teaching and coaching athletes in the art of gymnastics. They play a crucial role in helping athletes reach their full potential through developing skills, creating training plans, and providing feedback and support.
Responsibilities:
Design training plans that focus on building strength, flexibility, and skill progression Teach proper techniques for all gymnastics disciplines including vault, bars, beam and floor exercise Assist athletes in setting and achieving individual goals Provide regular feedback and encouragement to athletes Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective strategies Maintain a safe training environment and ensure that all equipment is properly used and maintained Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and other coaches Oversee our recreational gymnastics program and pre-team athletes
Qualifications:
Experience as a competitive gymnast or gymnastics coach- willing to train the right candidate. Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques and training methods Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to create and implement effective training plans Certification in gymnastics coaching is preferred, but not required Commitment to the job and your students, consistency and communication is very important when working with children.
