Job Description

Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head Swim Coach with all aspects of the swimming program.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree is required. Candidates should possess a thorough knowledge of swimming, a sophisticated understanding of coaching and training strategies, and a demonstrated ability to enhance student-athlete development. Admission into an approved graduate program at King University.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience as a student athlete at the collegiate level. Demonstrated ability and success in identifying and recruiting student athletes at a private, residential institution. Conference Carolinas experience athlete/coaching. NCAA's championship experience athlete/coaching.
Responsibilities:
Supervise all activities related to the student athletes; provide professional mentoring to student-athletes; Recruit student/athletes that meet King University Admission guidelines to achieve roster goals and field a competitive team; Provide academic, personal, and professional mentoring to student-athletes; Comply with all NCAA rules and regulations. Conducting practices, coaching at meets, and any other items designated by the head coach Assist student-athletes with individual athlete development and pre-season and conditioning programs Assist with recruitment and contact of prospective student-athletes, maintain knowledge of NCAA rules and promote and maintain positive public relations.
