Mens Soccer Graduate Assistant

Description:

Carson-Newman University Men's Soccer is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Graduate Assistant to join our coaching staff for the upcoming academic year. This position is ideal for someone with experience as a goalkeeper-either as a player or coach-who is passionate about mentoring student-athletes and contributing to a competitive NCAA Division II program.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the head coach with all aspects of the men's soccer program
• Focus on goalkeeper development through planning and executing training sessions
• Support team practices, game-day preparation, and individual player development
• Aid in recruiting efforts and administrative tasks
• Assist with travel coordination, equipment management, and compliance
• Contribute to the management and promotion of the program's social media platforms
• Maintain a strong commitment to academic support and student-athlete welfare
• Uphold the values and mission of Carson-Newman University and its athletic department

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required; acceptance into a Carson-Newman graduate program
• Collegiate playing or coaching experience, specifically with goalkeepers, preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Familiarity with social media marketing and content creation
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
